Preventing Sickness

We all know that prevention is better than cure. Hence if you don’t want to get sick, let’s adopt some healthy lifestyle to be part of your daily life to strengthen your immunity which fight against illnesses. Healthy living involves more than physical health, it also includes emotional, and spiritual health. In many instances, these three main aspects of life are closely linked, so that a change (good or bad) in one directly affects the other. Consequently, tips for healthy living are best when including suggestions for physical, emotional, and spiritual components. Here are some tips from what I find is a great way to stay healthy:

Physical Health Tips:

Crucial key factors to promote physical health include a balanced and healthy diet, active physical movement, rehydration, proper sleep, and cutting down unhealthy habits such as smoking, alcohol, and drugs and if needed, detoxifying periodically.

Emotional Health Tips:

Promoting emotional health is more of a process than a goal. As you go through those following techniques, remember that emotional health isn’t about always being in a good mood. It’s about equipping yourself to deal with the good, the bad, and everything in between or the middle way as of Buddhist philosophy. Practicing de-stressing coping strategies such as journaling, listening to music, talking with friend, immerging in natures to temper your emotion can help you respond instead of reacting to upsetting situations better.

Spiritual Health Tips:

The strategy to improve spiritual health is to identify the purpose and meaning in your life that bring you inner peace and tranquillity. Everyone is different, so what works for you, may not work for others. You may need to try many of these suggestions before you find what is comfortable for you. Practicing some strategies, taking time for yourself to be in quiet moments for letting go or laughing as much as you can, or Meditation can bring you inner peace and tranquillity.  Choose it wisely!
